Grupo Arliz is developing a new residential development in Ponta Delgada. Named Alto Visconde, the project is located on Rua Nova do Visconde and comprises 47 units, ranging from one- to four-bedroom apartments, with areas between 58 and 332 square metres.

Designed by architecture practice Lousinha Arquitectos, rendered by Luppa Architects, and promoted and built by Grupo Arliz, the development comprises two residential blocks, with seven floors dedicated to residential use and two additional floors for parking. The 47 units include nine one-bedroom apartments, 28 two-bedroom apartments, seven three-bedroom apartments and three four-bedroom apartments.

The connection with the outdoors is particularly prominent in the larger residences. The penthouses feature private terraces with jacuzzis and sea views, while one of the apartments has an exclusive private swimming pool. The development also offers a communal swimming pool, complemented by a lounge area and landscaped gardens.

The shared amenities include a multipurpose room with a kitchenette and bathroom facilities, designed to accommodate meetings and celebrations, as well as a dedicated fitness area.

The project also includes private parking spaces, including accessible spaces for residents with reduced mobility, private storage rooms, a car-washing area and pre-installation for electric vehicle charging.

Inside the apartments, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The open-plan kitchens include an induction hob, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

Energy efficiency has also been incorporated into the project through the use of environmentally friendly and recyclable materials, heat pumps and photovoltaic panels. These solutions contribute to more efficient resource use and help reduce the building’s energy consumption.

Located in Ponta Delgada, Alto Visconde benefits from its proximity to the city centre and to the retail, services, dining and leisure offering of the Azores’ main urban centre. The sea views, particularly prominent from the upper-floor residences, are one of the development’s defining features.
